Needless to say, she succeeded, and the magical world of Harry Potter manages to mesmerize readers even decades after the first book was released. In fact, she went on to prove her “words are the most inexhaustible source of magic” quote by creating a faninteresting tastic world that is truly spellbinding....

Last month, one of the greatest comic books of all time, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s Watchmen, concluded two different sequels across two different mediums: The DC Universe & Watchmen crossover comic series, Doomsday Clock and HBO’s Watchmen television series premiered its finale. The long-awaited release of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is now set for a June 21 release date in the US and UK. Given that the real-world AR gameplay has been developed by Niantic (the company behind Pokémon Go) it follows similar augmented reality gameplay mechanics but introduces the wonderful world of Harry Potter rather than Gamefreak’s Pocket Monsters. We saw the game get a limited release beta back in May in Australia and New Zealand....

Reuters reported that HBO might consider a reversal of its previous position of not allowing access to HBO Go without a cable subscription. HBO Go launched 3 years ago to allow subscribers to watch shows on tablets, but the service is so far restricted to those who have a cable TV subscription with an HBO partner and pay a top-up HBO fee. Co-President Eric Kessler had previously, and rather naively, said in a video interview at VideoNuze that those abandoning cable TV for purely online viewing was “minimal” and a temporary response to the economy, and he said there was no reason to offer a standalone mobile service....

On stage at WWDC, Apple officially unveiled iOS 12 with a heavy focus on performance and stability improvements. As for the devices that will get iOS 12, Apple says every device that ran iOS 11 will be able to upgrade to this year’s release… Apple’s Craig Federighi touted that Apple has spent a lot of time focusing on the performance of iOS 12 on older devices. Many fans of Harry Potter have noticed that the Gryffindors in the series get special treatment compared to the other houses. Of the four houses, Slytherin and Gryffindor both get the most favoritism from professors, but it’s the Grynffindors that are clearly Dumbledore’s favorite. Seeing that this is the house he was in, it definitely comes off as very biased. While much of the favoritism is directed towards Harry, this isn’t always the case....

Game of Thrones is set to return later this year for its seventh season, which will be shortened to seven episodes from the usual 10.
