DJI’s latest drone, the Spark, got some serious attention when it was announced last month, for good reason too. The adorably tiny drone is advertised as something for beginners that doesn’t require much in terms of setup. Going up for sale as a Kickstarter campaign later this week, ex-Apple engineer Addison Shelton is launching the Swiss Army knife of iPhone cases with a new product called “TaskOne.” Made of sturdy aircraft aluminum and polycarbonate, the TaskOne’s enclosure houses 16 tools including a 2.5″ knife, saw, screwdrivers, and 11 other tools such as a bottle opener, kickstand, pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers, 6 allen wrenches, and a ruler....

iPad 3 parts are supposedly cropping up all over China. Following yesterday’s spy shots of a purported iPad 3 enclosure (here and here), Japanese blog Macotakara today published the above photo allegedly depicting a high-resolution panel manufactured by Sharp. According to the blog, the part was obtained by parts reseller Eye Lab Factory, which means take this with a few pinches of salt. It looks like 9.7-inch panel, and Macotakara said its flat cable corresponds to a similar cable connecting the iPad 2’s LCD panel to the motherboard....

Lionsgate has unveiled a set of new Hellboy posters that spotlight the reboot’s various monsters and nod to the movie’s comic book influences. Red returns to the big screen next month, more than a decade after his last appearance in Guillermo del Toro’s 2008 sequel, Hellboy II: The Golden Army. The character is being brought to life by Stranger Things’ David Harbour in Neil Marshall’s relaunch of the franchise, which promises to be a bloodier, more horror-centric take on the property than del Toro’s Hellboy adventures (as evidenced by its now-official R rating)....

In February of 2020, Maroon 5 is trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons. The iconic pop band has had a rough go in the public spotlight these last few years, after attaining social media infamy for headlining the Super Bowl halftime show. While the Harry Potter series might be made up of seven very successful books in our world, there are dozens of books in the Harry Potter universe that are mentioned. These books range from spell books used at Hogwarts to autobiographies to fairy tales, and everything in between. Dumbledore from Harry Potter is definitely a complex character. While he starts out seeming as a benevolent, wise mentor to Harry, as the series goes on, it’s clear that he isn’t as innocent as that. Dumbledore’s a character who has a dark and complicated past, and his relationship to Harry and how he manipulates him is also quite sinister. There are infinitely many debates among Harry Potter fans about whether Dumbledore is a good guy or not, and it’s clear that he’s done some pretty shameless and blatant things in the series....

HBO’s Watchmen finished just a few short weeks ago but there’s already speculation about a second season of the show. A Hello Kitty movie is now in the works at New Line Cinema. Created by Yuko Shimizu for Sanrio Co. Ltd in 1974, the cartoon cat character has since become a globally recognized symbol of innocence and friendship.
