The Death Eaters of Harry Potter are the bad guys — that much is pretty objective. Followers of Lord Voldemort, they operate on the premise than anyone of “lesser” blood than them is bad, that they must be destroyed, and that they’re better for having more witches and wizards in their family than most. Operating on such ideologies, they do some truly awful things (including but not limited to, torture and murder)....
As with most adaptations from page to screen, the famous eight-movie Harry Potter series misses out on some fan-favorite moments from the books. Though this is an unfortunate reality, it happens with so many movies adapted from books because to write a verbatim interpretation of the book would produce a movie that lasts far too long for audiences.
