After teasing its first iOS controller that would work with Apple’s new MFi standard for game controllers, today we get what appears to be an official press shot of Logitech’s upcoming gamepad for iPhone that first leaked at WWDC earlier this year (via @evleaks). We noticed that Logitech left space for the rear camera, which is nice for augmented reality apps and other games that utilize the iPhone’s camera. Apple will offer 2 types of game controllers through its MFi program and two configurations all with pressure sensitive buttons and consistent layouts....

Stories adapted from the big screen to television always have differences. Some are subtle, and some change the whole landscape of the film. These changes are often because of new storylines in the TV show. The show could be a prequel to the movie’s story or a continuation of where the film left off. TV series have the benefit of more time to develop a story, unlike the few hours a film gets....

Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan Markle will officially give up $88 Billion to become financially independent from the rest of their family. The couple is happy to leave the money behind to be able to start new outside the eyes of the prying media. Harvey Weinstein has been charged with two more cases of sexual assault in Los Angeles as he attended court to testify for his New York charges. Weinstein appeared today at a New York City courthouse for his trial on several rape and sexual assault charged. Accusers Rose McGowan, Rosanna Arquette, Dominique Huett, and more were present outside court. Weinstein maintains a plea of not guilty and insists that any sexual interaction he had with these women was consensual....

Hayden Christensen is best known for playing Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels, and while his time in the film saga came to an end with Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, he hasn’t stayed far away from the franchise. The history of the Star Wars universe can be divided in three: the original trilogy, the prequels, and the sequel trilogy. Of course, there have been other works in between, such as The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and all those works now considered non-canon and labeled as Expanded Universe or Star Wars Legends....

The company is currently offering users a discounted rate for battery replacements, giving users the opportunity to return to full power. A new video shared today offers a great look at just how noticeable the performance difference is between an iPhone 6s with performance throttling, and one with a brand new battery just replaced by Apple…...

Two dates surfaced over the weekend regarding when the so-called iPhone 7 could be introduced and available to purchase. Evan Blass, better known as @evleaks, tweeted Friday night that the next iPhone would be released during the week of September 12th, then added on Saturday that he indeed meant the actual retail release and that “it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th.” We noted in our coverage this morning that a two-week period typically occurs the time between the iPhone announcement and release date, which suggests a late August to early September Apple event assuming the September 16th date is accurate....

If you’ve longed for Netflix to let you turn off autoplay previews, you now can. Netflix is a great service for finding shows and movies to watch, but the automatic previews quickly became one of the subscription service’s most frustrating features. Navigating Netflix used to be a simple process. The user would open the app, casually scroll through the options, and select a show or movie to watch. However, that changed when the streaming service introduced its autoplay previews....

With Disney+ having recently come out, it’s hard not to binge-watch your old favorite shows, including Hannah Montana. With the ongoing controversy surrounding Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, many fans are doing what they can to distance themselves from her beliefs while simultaneously staying true to the franchise. It’s certainly a tricky position to be in for Potterheads, but fortunately, the wizarding world is a rich one with redeeming characters that are easy to love. One such character is Hagrid, whose personality and selfless ways have made him one of the most beloved characters in the entire series....

HBO’s Watchmen will feature the return of the godlike Dr. Manhattan, and the new trailer offers some major hints as to why he’s back. HBO’s adaptation of the legendary graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons has been shrouded in mystery since it was announced, with showrunner Damon Lindelof dropping only the tiniest of hints. The trailer, unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con, revealed the basic premise - the show takes place approximately three decades after the book, revealing the warped world created by Adrian Veidt’s murderous con job to unite humanity at the height of the Cold War....

When Apple showed FaceTime running on Android and Windows at the WWDC 2021 opening keynote, I couldn’t have been more surprised. Back in 2010, Steve Jobs said that FaceTime would be “open source,” but this never happened and the feature has always been exclusive to Apple devices. This year, however, it seems that Apple wants more people to have access to its services, and that includes a web version of FaceTime — sort of....

Throughout all of the Harry Potter films, the Ministry Of Magic is a point of contention. We know the original Minister, Cornelius Fudge, has some questionable policies and certain issues with acceptance, but we can all agree that that was a better system than the muggle torturing, death eater-run Ministry from the latter films. Considering JK Rowling effectively set up an entire political system and parliamentary houses in the making of Harry Potter, there were bound to be a few details we overlooked within the books and films....

Hermione Granger is not only one of the greatest characters in Harry Potter, but she’s also one of the best characters throughout the history of fiction. JK Rowling has done a tremendous job creating a character who is complex, generous, brilliant, and emotionally intelligent. Hermione is so many things, and we will always consider her character to be a role model who has shaped our childhood. With that being said, there are some things about Hermione Granger that don’t make a lot of sense to us....
