Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Harley Quinn season 1, episode 4, “Finding Mr. Right.” The latest episode of DC Universe’s Harley Quinn finds the Clown Queen of Crime fighting a media war to convince the world that she isn’t the nemesis of Robin the Boy Wonder. In doing this, the episode provides a brilliant satire of entertainment news and how the rivalries between heroes and villains are treated like celebrity romances by the media of the DC Universe....

The Harry Potter series is noted for bringing us a protagonist who was never played out to be all-powerful and had to rely on luck and outside factors to overcome Voldemort. Had the smallest of things gone another way, then Deathly Hallows wouldn’t have been possible. While we know most of the major moments, such as Voldemort choosing Harry instead of Neville to kill as a baby, there were relatively minor moments that turned out to have huge impacts in the lead-up to the final book....

After years of essentially waiting to be attacked and just hoping that he could weather whatever storm was coming his way, Harry Potter finally decided to be a bit more proactive by creating the Dumbledore’s Army. When the dark lord returned, the world didn’t want to accept it. But Harry knew that he had to prepare himself for the reality of the situation. But instead of just readying himself for war, Harry decided to teach many of his fellow Hogwarts students how to defend themselves and fight against the coming darkness too....

The Harry Potter franchise might be seen as a family adventure, for the most part, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some scary moments thrown into the series. It might have some uplifting and fun magical moments, but the movies also have a dark side. The later in the series you get, the darker the films become as it is clear that the dark side is beginning to take over the wizarding world....

Rights issues between Marvel and Universal Studios have stood in the way of a standalone Hulk movie for quite some time now, but Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk TV series brings up new questions about the status of Hulk’s character rights. Bruce Banner hasn’t been featured as the lead character in a movie since he was played by Edward Norton in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, which was produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Universal Studios....

In the current age of TV revivals and reboots, it was probably only a matter of time before someone got around to tackling the 1988 dark teen comedy Heathers. After all, a cult classic like Heathers tends to create very loyal followers; followers likely to tune in and give a new take on the material a chance. Also, with viewers now inundated with a multitude of viewing options across broadcast, cable, and streaming, having a built-in audience is is never going to be a bad thing in the eyes of Hollywood....

With the major Group FaceTime bug, which allowed a user to eavesdrop into a call without the receiver ever picking up the phone, users should be looking for alternatives as we await Apple’s upcoming software update. The good news is that Apple has disabled the Group FaceTime functionality on its servers. This means there’s no need to disable FaceTime as the issue at hand is related to Group FaceTime and not traditional one-to-one FaceTime calls....

Netflix may be far from the only choice when it comes to streaming these days (and it shows in the number of subscribers leaving the service), but it’s still the big daddy of streamable viewing - and while other companies are allowing fans a greater choice in what to watch, Netflix continues to ramp up the original content to bridge the gap. July saw the end of one of the first big Netflix Original hits: Orange Is The New Black, and now August sees the return of some of the newer Original series, like Glow and Dear White People....

“Potterverse” is not an exaggerated term for the world J.K. Rowling has created. The Harry Potter series introduces the reader to hundreds of complex characters. Each could have their own series written about them, and they would be as deep and complex as the tales of Harry Potter. We’d especially love a series devoted to the Longbottom family. It’s pretty rare to find a character who is universally beloved, especially in a franchise as monstrously massive as Harry Potter, but Rubeus Hagrid is one of those lucky few who absolutely everyone seems to adore. Ginny Weasley had a prolific wizarding career after the main events of the Harry Potter series. Actress Bonnie Wright played the pure-blood witch in all eight installments of the series based on the books by J.K. Rowling. Ginevra Weasley, normally referred to as “Ginny,” was the youngest child of Arthur and Molly. Out of the seven siblings, Ginny was notably the only girl.
