There’s a long history associated with Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and its founding members in the Harry Potter franchise. We’ve seen snippets of the founders and heard a little of their story, but there’s so much more that we would love to know. Compromised of Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor, the four founders were friends and then enemies. Here are 10 questions that we’d love to have answered about the founders of Hogwarts....

High on Life is a comedic sci-fi action-adventure Metroidvania first-person shooter game. The game was created by Justin Roiland and developed and published by Squanch Games. J.K. Rowling’s original plan for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows included a character that she regrets killing, and it’s one you might not even remember. Rowling shared the Wizarding World with readers everywhere through Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 1997, the first entry in what would become a successful series of seven books, which came to an end in 2007 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter is the protagonist and hero in the Harry Potter series, but this doesn’t mean he’s perfect all of the time. Having a protagonist who is overall good and reliable but also has many flaws makes for an interesting character. While Harry tries to do the right thing and make the right choices when faced with difficult situations, he doesn’t always do so. He is quite young and has a lot on his plate, and he also has personality flaws such as being reckless that contribute to poor decision making....

A new concept today from designer Álvaro Pabesio imagines how Apple could dramatically overhaul macOS when it finally makes the jump to ‘macOS 11.’ The concept depicts a redesigned menu bar with an iOS-like Control Center, as well as universal apps, a system-wide dark mode, and much more. In this concept, nearly everything has been changed in one way or another. First and foremost, the classic macOS menu bar has been dramatically simplified, with a status bar that transforms into a full iOS-like Control Center on the right, and traditional menu bar controls on the left....

It’s been a big day for both Apple and its employees. Apple plans to repatriate almost $250 billion of its overseas cash, while it will also give employees $2,500 worth of restricted stock units. In any franchise, heroes make mistakes, and Harry Potter is no different. Whether it’s fighting Lord Voldemort and his loyal Death Eaters or in his regular life as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Boy Who Lived doesn’t always get things right. Harry may have been able to bring peace to the wizarding community by defeating Voldemort during the final Battle of Hogwarts but, as to be expected for somebody so young, he made many errors along the way....

Harvard Law professor Susan Crawford and former special assistant to President Obama has written a blog post setting out the reason why she believes it is legally impossible for the FBI to win its case. HBO’s Watchmen has fired direct shots at Zack Snyder’s 2009 film, passing comment on its hyper-styled violence and thematic underpinnings. Damon Lindelof’s hit new show is ostensibly a sequel to the famed graphic novel, taking a look at an alternate 2019 where squids rain, police wear masks and effective gods live on Mars. In other words, it has next to no connection to Snyder’s 2009 film. The movie Watchmen was a direct adaptation of Dave Gibbons and Alan Moore’s work that was incredibly faithful to the source, at least from a visual and narrative standpoint....
