For a lot of reasons, Peter Pettigrew, AKA “Wormtail”, may be one of the creepiest characters in all of the Harry Potter series. First and foremost, is the rather strange decision on the part of author J.K. Rowlings, to make Pettigrew’s animagus form hang around so closely with a preteen Ronald Weasley. With that particularly large elephant out of the room, we can get into some of the more unnerving, crazy, and interesting facts about this Voldemort supporter....

David Harbor reveals that his version of Hellboy cannot have sex with humans. This is just one of a few key differences between the original 2004 Hellboy movie, starring Ron Perlman, and the reboot in which Harbour stars as the demonic beast who becomes a superhero. Those differences initially became apparent when the first trailer for the new Hellboy film dropped late last year. Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal series on NBC adapted Thomas Harris’ novels to bring the character of Hannibal Lecter to the small screen, but instead of having him face off with Clarice Starling, Fuller gave him a different - and better - character foil: Will Graham. A partnership between AT&T and city authorities will provide New Yorkers with 25 solar-powered phone charging stations to top up their phones and tablets, reports the New York Times. The technology itself is made by Goal Zero, who make a range of portable power products, both solar and battery. The roll-out is a pilot scheme, so we may see more solar charging stations to come. I can’t imagine you’d want to walk away leaving your device there, but if you’re low on power and urgently need to get something done, your local park could be the place to do it....

Hideo Kojima is one of the most beloved game developers out there - which is why the mecha genre needs him. As the creator of Metal Gear Solid, Kojima helped define gaming for many years, and now he and his team have brought their talents to the PS4 with Death Stranding. The big question, though, is what’s next for Kojima Productions? Considering it’s Hideo Kojima, he could go anywhere, but it’d be perfect for Kojima to return to mecha, a genre he hasn’t touched in almost two decades....

Doug Bradley became a horror icon playing Pinhead in the Hellraiser franchise, but creator Clive Barker actually offered him a different role first. While he’s since seemingly left the character behind for good, Bradley’s nearly 20-year tenure as Hellraiser’s lead Cenobite forever cemented the actor as a legendary figure in the eyes of horror fans. Bradley first played Pinhead in 1987’s original Hellraiser film, and would reprise the role in the first seven Hellraiser sequels, his last being 2005’s Hellraiser: Hellworld, which featured a young Henry Cavill....
