Yesterday marked the official launch of the latest streaming service, Quibi. The short-form video app was heavily promoted in the App Store by Apple, and new data from Sensor Tower indicates it was downloaded around 300,000 times during its first day of availability. Quibi’s launch day statistics are a far cry from Disney+, which received 4 million day-one installs according to Sensor Tower data. Quibi, of course, is new on the scene, but it has raised $1....

A new report from Barron’s takes an in-depth look at what could make 2018 the year Apple will reach a $1 trillion dollar market capitalization. With its iPhone X, potential China growth, share buyback efforts, recent tax reform, and more, Apple has a lot of momentum going. As the election cycle heats up in the United States, Pineapple Street Media co-founder Max Linsky announced today that he will be co-hosting a podcast with the Democratic US presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton. The podcast is entitled “With Her,” a play on Clinton’s campaign slogan of “I’m With Her.” According to the podcast’s description, With Her, will detail “what it’s like to be on the road to history.” In addition to Clinton being a co-host, there will also be appearances by her Vice President pick, Tim Kaine, as well as other staff members and Clinton supporters....

Sirius Black is definitely a fan-favorite character from the Harry Potter series. While he was only a side character and only really in three of the books, his complexity as a character as well as his personality made many fans love him. Apple this week officially announced its 2020 App Store Best award winners, recognizing outstanding apps and games for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac. Someone has taken pictures of the Apple Watch Edition packaging, which unlike the cheaper models doubles as a charging dock. The pictures show the more premium leather lining of the box. The insert for the charging cable is also visible in the pictures. The Apple Watch is suspended on its side whilst charging, clamped by the adaptor. As shown earlier this week, the Apple Watch packaging is similar but does not use the materials and lacks the charging element....

Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter were both students at Hogwarts, seekers on their respective Hogwarts House Quidditch teams, and the eventual Champions representing Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournament. The two did not go out of their way to interact, but when they did, they were friendly toward each other, and they did help each other out during the Tournament. Apple first announced its partnership with French fashion company Hermès just over a year ago, and since then, the partnership has slowly expanded. Now, Hermès is gearing up to release an exclusive new Apple Watch band tomorrow, November 24th (via Vogue). As you can see above, the band features Robert Dallet’s “Equateur Tatoutage” print, which depicts a jungle battery with a tiger. It’s certainly one of the more vibrant Apple Watch bands we’ve seen, but it’ll surely be popular with the device’s fashion-centric users....
