New Hawkeye fan art imagines what Hailee Steinfeld could look like in the role of Kate Bishop in the upcoming TV show. Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, made his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe back when Thor was released in 2011. The character was then fully introduced in 2012’s The Avengers and has been a main part of the team ever since.

Despite Barton seemingly going back into retirement at the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame, Hawkeye is getting his own TV show on Disney’s upcoming streaming service called Disney+. Disney is putting the focus on their other projects that are coming out sooner, so very little is actually known about Hawkeye right now. The series won’t debut until Fall 2021, but fans can look forward to Kate Bishop being introduced to the MCU when Hawkeye does finally become available for streamers. Bishop has been a fan-favorite character since her debut in 2005 and it was recently announced that Marvel was looking to cast Steinfeld in the role. Now fans can get a look at what the character might look like in the upcoming series.

Ever since the announcement that Steinfeld might be playing Bishop, the internet has been flooded with fan art depicting her as the comic character. Artists like mizuriofficial, apexform, and bosslogic all posted their interpretations of what the character could look like, which can be seen below:

While Bishop is a new character that is being introduced in the Hawkeye show, there are several other shows coming to Disney+ based on more familiar characters. The earliest show that is coming to Disney+ is The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which will become available in Fall 2020. Scarlet Witch and Vision are also getting their own show called WandaVision, but it’s still unknown how Vision will come back from the dead. Tom Hiddleston is also returning for Loki and Marvel is delving into the animated space with their What If…? series. As if that wasn’t enough Marvel content, it was also announced during Disney’s D23 event that Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk are also getting their own TV shows on Disney+.

Marvel fans will will have plenty of content to watch in the coming years, but Hawkeye may be one show that people are looking forward to the most. For years there have been rumors that Hawkeye would get a solo film and even though Hawkeye will be a TV series, fans will likely tune in. Barton was one of the six original Avengers, so fans are no doubt looking forward to seeing more of him, especially since Bishop will also be a part of the show. That being said, fans will have to wait a while to find out what Steinfeld will actually look like as Bishop (if she is actually cast in Hawkeye).
