The relationship between Bill and Fleur isn’t one that gets a ton of focus in the Harry Potter series as neither of them are the main characters. However, in many ways, their relationship is one of the strongest of the series, and their romance grows even as a lot of horrible things are going on around them. These two seemed to get along really well, and the only issues they ever had were because of people around them not because of any incompatibility.

10. WHEN FLEUR WASN’T SWAYED TO STOP LOVING BILL EVEN THOUGH HIS FAMILY DIDN’T LIKE HER
The first introduction readers get to the fact that Bill and Fleur are a couple is when Harry encounters her at The Burrow. It’s clear that the Weasleys are not thrilled about this development. In fact, the siblings call her Phlegm behind her back. Despite the fact Bill’s family thinks Fleur is a ridiculous and a bad match for him, this doesn’t bother Fleur. She doesn’t change her mind about wanting to be with Bill because of this.
9. BILL HELPING FLEUR GET A JOB SO THEY COULD BE CLOSER TOGETHER
Bill is older than Fleur, so he’s a little more established in his career. He uses his long-standing job at Gringotts to get Fleur a job there, too. This allows these two to be closer to each other and get to know each other more instead of having to travel to France and back. This just goes to show that they are both really committed to each other early on and willing to do what it takes to make things work as a couple.
8. WHEN THEY WERE BOTH BADASS AT MAGIC
While Fleur might not get enough respect in the books, or in the fandom, she’s clearly a capable and brave witch. She was a Triwizard Champion which goes to show how good of a witch she was.
Also, Bill is a good wizard with an interesting job as a curse breaker for Gringotts. Clearly, they are both capable in their own right, and their combined bravery, talents, and coolness would make for quite the formidable couple that anyone would aspire to be.
7. RAISING A FAMILY TOGETHER
While this isn’t really talked about much because it happens after the books ended, Bill and Fleur are married for years and have three kids together. They clearly are happy together and build a life as parents. Being a parent is no joke or easy feat, so this is definitely one area where the yare major relationship goals. While not a lot is known about their lives post the Potter series, it’s clear that they would have been some of the coolest, most glamorous parents in the wizarding world.
6. THE AESTHETIC OF SHELL COTTAGE
This point is more of a surface level one than a deep dive on the great things about their relationships. But, the fact is that as far as being relationship goals is concerned, who wouldn’t want to live in a fabulous, aesthetically pleasing cottage right on the beach? They create this home as a sort of haven away from the war raging in the wizarding world. The fact is that this cottage sounds beautiful and would have been a beautiful place to live as newlyweds despite the scary things going on in the wizarding world.
5. FIGHTING TOGETHER AT THE BATTLE OF HOGWARTS
While these two might seem like they are a bit separate from the war against Voldemort, they really weren’t at all. Both of them fought at the Battle of Hogwarts. This is just another example of how these two were both capable and fierce magic-wielders in their own right. The fact that they risked their own lives, and their own happiness as a couple, to fight in this battle and do the right thing is quite impressive.
4. THE WAY THEY PROVIDED A SAFE HOUSE FOR HARRY AND OTHERS AT SHELL COTTAGE
When Harry and the others arrive at Shell Cottage after the ordeal at Malfoy Manor, it’s a brief reprieve where they can heal. This is rather a beautiful moment even though it’s tinged with a lot of tragedies including the death of Dobby.
Both Bill and Fleur are able to provide refuge and are willing to do what they can to help their friends and family. They also help Griphook, and this shows their willingness to help all manner of people and beings in the wizarding world.
3. WHEN FLEUR WASN’T PHASED AFTER BILL WAS ATTACKED
This is one of the defining moments of the relationship between Bill and Fleur. When Bill is attacked by Fenrir Greyback at the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, everyone expects Fleur to break up with him. She is quite offended by this and talks about how she is attractive enough for them both. This moment shows that their love for each other is quite deep, and also that Fleur isn’t a shallow person. It’s definitely a moment that proves that the Weasleys had been wrong about her.
2. WHEN THEY WERE BOTH MEMBERS OF THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX
Both Bill and Fleur helped the Order of the Phoenix. This isn’t that surprising considering that Bill’s entire family, except Percy, was involved with the fight against Voldemort. However, the fact the Fleur was also willing to help is also quite admirable. They both helped retrieve Harry from the Dursley’s and Fleur was one of the people who took Polyjuice Potion to look like Harry.
1. THEIR GORGEOUS WEDDING
The wedding between Bill and Fleur was quite an elegant and beautiful event. This wedding acts as an important moment of celebration despite all of the horrible things happening in the wizarding world. While how big and beautiful a wedding is doesn’t mean anything about the quality of a relationship, they definitely had the kind of magical wedding that would be goals for anyone looking to tie the knot.
