Former Bachelorette, Hannah Brown’s BFF and Bachelor in Paradise alum, Demi Burnett, is weighing in on the prospects of Brown falling for her Dancing with the Stars partner, Alan Bersten.  She says she warned her BFF Brown, “Don’s sh*t where you eat,” in other words, it’s not a good idea to date while working with someone professionally.

Brown has had her share of ups and downs when it comes to romance. The former pageant queen appeared on season 23 of The Bachelor, where she vied for Colton Underwood’s heart. After being sent home 7th place, she was cast as the lead of season 15 of The Bachelorette. Audiences watched as the southern belle as she searched for love. She had a lot of connections and plenty of scandals in her season. Brown had to pick between the final two - Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron. Unbeknownst to Brown, it came out in the tabloids that Wyatt hadn’t broken up with his previous serious girlfriend before going on the show, insisting going on the show was only to help promote his career and not for love. She went on to get engaged with Wyatt. After five weeks of engagement to Wyatt, she dumped him. At the second half of The Bachelorette finale, during the live segment, she tried to give Cameron another chance, but after they spent a night together - just days later - he started dating supermodel Gigi Hadid.

Brown’s BFF, Burnett, spoke on Nick Viall’s podcast (via Us Weekly) - Viall Files - on Thursday, September 26th and opened up about Brown’s run on Dancing with the Stars. Brown and Bersten just earned best dance of the night when they performed the Viennese Waltz together. Burnett said, “I think her partner is really good for her.” She then speaks about the fact that fans are hoping there will be some spark of romance between the two dance partners. She said that she likes Bersten, saying, “He’s the best. I could talk to him all night.” As for Brown and Bersten’s chemistry, she said, “I don’t know if there’s any chemistry. I don’t want anyone putting all that pressure on her. I feel like everyone is like, ‘Ooh, they’re gonna fall for each other?’ Who knows!”

Even though Brown’s BFF approves of Bersten, it doesn’t mean she thinks it’s a good idea to get romantically involved in her dance partner. She said, “I don’t know! I told her, ‘Don’t sh*t where you eat.’ You know?” She said she knew that Brown would be with Bersten, saying, “When she got cast, I was like, she’s definitely gonna be with Alan, because he’s, like, currently the hot, single professional and come on, Hannah is clearly single.” She said it’s obvious that ABC is hoping that there would be a spark between them, she said, “That would be a dream. It would look so amazing for ABC.”

Burnett, who has been around the mountain a few times when it comes to reality TV on ABC, is warning her BFF not to mix her personal and her work life. It must be a huge change from being a reality TV show centered around finding love, to being on a dancing competition where love shouldn’t be involved. Though its a slippery slope, because in order for Brown and Bersten to have an amazing dance it requires a special connection. That connection could be misconstrued as love, and while fans are here for it, it seems that Burnett is looking out for her friend’s heart.
