The former Bachelorette star, Hannah Brown, shut down the rumors that she’s dating her Dancing with the Stars partner, Alan Bersten. She set the record straight that they’ve got their eyes on the prize and not on each other.

Brown has had her share of ups and downs when it comes to romance when she was cast as the lead of season 15 of The Bachelorette. Audiences watched as the southern belle as she searched for love. She had a lot of connections and plenty of scandals in her season. Brown had to pick between the final two - Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron. Unbeknownst to Brown, it came out in the tabloids that Wyatt hadn’t broken up with his previous serious girlfriend before going on the show, insisting going on the show was only to help promote his career and not for love. She went on to get engaged with Wyatt. After five weeks of engagement to Wyatt, she dumped him. On the second half of The Bachelorette finale, during the live segment, she tried to give Cameron another chance, but after they spent a night together - just days later - he started dating supermodel Gigi Hadid. Will all of that Bachelorette drama behind her, she’s planning on making this third time on reality TV the best one yet, she plans to win the mirror-ball trophy.

While Brown’s 25-year-old dance partner, Bersten, has a history of dating past dance partners when he was previously linked to his season 27 partner Alexis Ren. Although both Brown and Bersten are single now, the two maintain that the only “thing” they have between them is being Team Alabama Hannah. Though it’s clear that the dancing duo has a connection that is clear in their routines, Brown set the record straight regarding if they’re dating or not. Us Weekly reported after the episode on Monday, September 30th, Brown said, “We are dance partners, and we have the best time together, and we have a friendship that is great.” The 25-year-old said, “I think I’m done with roses, so mirrorball [trophy] is what we have our eye on.”

They recently received best dance of the night when they performed a polished and romantic Viennese Waltz to Taylor Swift’s song “Lover.” Though the two maintain there is no “thing” between them. There was some playful banter between them. Bersten joked about how he’s known for ditching his shirt during rehearsals, he said, “I’m just a stripper for hire.” Even saying that his moves are “pretty good.” Brown laughed and quipped, “I closed my eyes most of the time.”

Even though the connection between Bersten and Brown is obvious on the dance floor, they maintain it’s just for the sake of a good performance and that they are just friends. Though, it would look good for ABC to play matchmaker again for Brown after they failed to give her the right fiancé. Fans know that Brown is only focusing on herself and healing from the emotional roller coasters he’s been on since The Bachelorette, but there’s still hope that Brown would have to look no further than her dance partner to find “the one.”
